Why: It cost just over $150 a year for the use of the meet up website.
This is a place where big dog lovers (mid to xtra large breed) can meet and live the Big Dog lifestyle with others. Big dog people - you KNOW what I mean! This is definitely geared towards the active folks with active dogs.
Various activities will include hikes around the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley area (From Ambleside, to MacDonald Beach to Mt. Cheam!). I'd love to organize some day hikes as well - Whistler perhaps? Even camping trips at dog friendly places.
Suggestions are welcome, also if anyone knows of cafes or restaurants that will allow dogs on a patio or something - let us know. I'm not opposed to have multiple activities happening on a given day, so long as someone is available to greet people (any assistants out there?)

I'd love to start a posting list of rentals that allow large dogs and are dog friendly - we all know how difficult that can be!
