Furry Scurry Tomorrow - Sat May 3rd - Large Dog Group

Hey Everyone!

Are you ready for tomorrow?!? We will be gathering in the Corporate Meeting Area tomorrow morning at 8:30 sharp! We already have a group of 30+! Following is all the information you should need for tomorrow (hopefully) :o)

LOCATION OF CORPORATE TEAMS AREA

The Corporate Teams area is set up in a big circle on the northwest side of Mississippi and Franklin, just inside the park. We will have your T-Shirts and bibs in our meeting area. Teams will be organized alphabetically clockwise, so Aardvark Entertainment will be to the left near the front of the area, Zed Productions will be to the right. (We should be in the middle-ish Team name: OutdoorsCO/Virtela) Send us an email (with your email address) and we will send you a pdf map, if you need it.

Teams should congregate in their designated areas so that other teammates can find them.



PICTURES

League staff and volunteers will be available to take team photos. There will be designated areas where the photos will be taken. When all of our team members have arrived we will have our picture taken! Say cheese! We will plan on taking photos at 8:45.



The Corporate Teams area will be dismantled by the time the walk is over, so please take all belongings with you. Unattended items will be moved to lost and found at the Information booth.

WHAT ARE THE START TIMES?

Runners - 9 a.m.

Walkers without dogs - 9:05 a.m.

Walkers with dogs - 9:10 a.m.



WILL I BE ABLE TO GET MY DOG MICROCHIPPED?

YES! The Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society will be on hand to offer microchipping for your dog for $44. A microchip ID implant is the best way to ensure your pet's safe return should he or she become lost. The microchip ID is smaller than a grain of rice and is implanted in the scruff of your dog's neck in a quick, easy injection.



CORPORATE TEAM UPDATE

The corporate teams have made tremendous progress in the last week. There are 80 teams consisting of a total of 568 members. So far, you have raised over $79,000 for the homeless animals in their care. Yippee!!!
