About The Indianapolis Bully Breed Bow Wow

This is a social group for people who love bully breeds of all sorts. Whether you have one of the many types of bully-variety terriers, one of the many types of bulldogs, a boxer, a mastiff or a bully-mutt, we'd love to have you join us for our monthly walking/hiking dog events.


EVENT GUIDELINES
As our group grows and we have higher attendance at our meetup events, we want to make sure that everyone is able to safely have a good time.

For the most part, we're sticking with the basics of responsible dog ownership:

• Dogs MUST be on-leash and under human control at ALL times.
  
• Your dog must be current on all vaccinations and it is highly recommended that your dog be on heartworm/roundworm preventative and flea & tick preventative medications as well.
  
• You are expected to clean up after your dog.
  
• Be aware that dogs are like people. People don't like every human they meet, so why should dogs have to like every dog that they meet? While at a meetup event, it's important that as you socialize with the other humans that you continue to pay attention to how your dog is doing in this pack environment. (The group organizers hope to post more information on how you can teach your dog to be tolerant of most dogs around him or her, but for now, you might like to check out this page on different levels of dog tolerance / dog socialization).
